This outstanding Necklace showcases a 21-Stone Turquoise and Sterling Silver Four Corners Cross Pendant by Santa Fe Jewelry Artist Dan Dodson. The Pendant is a striking 2-3/8" by 2-3/8" in dimension, plus a 3/4" Cylinder Bail. The Bail is stamped with Radiant Crosses, mirroring the Pendant. The Pendant's 21 Turquoise Stones are sage & olive green in hue with brown matrix, and are oval-round in shape. They are individually set in raised Sterling Silver Bezels on Sterling Plate, and encircled by 66 Sterling Silver Balls. The Sterling Balls were individually handcrafted, and meticulously soldered in place one by one. The Sterling Silver Plate is slightly oxidized, to enhance the appearance of the Sterling Balls. The Pendant is stamped on the back with the Artist's hallmark — "DMD" — and "Sterling." An impressive and beautiful piece.
We've paired the Pendant with 4 Strands of color-matched Peridot Rounds. The Peridot is 5mm in dimension, skillfully cut and shaped, and polished to a soft sheen. The Peridot is paired with a number of Czech Glass elements, including:
- Luminous green & Picasso green Druk Glass Rounds (4 & 8mm);
- Picasso gray, misty green, transparent green & bronze Czech Fire Polished Glass Faceted Ovals (3, 4, & 6mm);
- Silver Cubes (3mm);
- Olive Seed Beads; and
- Pyrite Faceted Nuggets (4mm).
These Beads add translucency and subtle sparkle to the design. The Peridot is highlighted by eight (8) Hill Tribe Silver Rondelle Beads, which are 6.5-by-8mm in dimension and are stamped with 4 Suns. The Silver Beads echo the bright tones in the Pendant. At the top of the Necklace the Peridot transitions to Fire Polished Glass, streamlining the silhouette and ensuring a comfortable fit. The Necklace is finished with a Sterling Silver Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 140 grams and is 19 inches in length, plus the Pendant.
