This terrific Necklace showcases an 11-Stone Turquoise and Sterling Silver Cross Pendant crafted by Santa Fe jewelry artist Dan Dodson. The Turquoise stones display both blue and green hues, with the 4 green stones cut in teardrop shapes and the 7 blue stones in teardrops and rounds. The Turquoise is set in raised Sterling Silver Bezels on Oxidized Sterling Silver Plate, and embellished with 34 individually made Sterling Silver Concho Stars and Sterling Balls. An impressive piece. The Cross Pendant hangs from a V-shaped Bail with linear etching, and is stamped on the back with the artist's hallmark and "Sterling." We've paired the Pendant with 3 strands of 6mm blue-green Turquoise Rounds, which are beautifully formed and polished to a soft sheen. The Turquoise is complemented by 4mm Pyrite Nuggets, 3mm Black Diamond Swarovski Crystal Bicones, and several different types of Fire Polished Glass, including 3-Cut Agua with Picasso Rondelles, light green Faceted Coins, and teal Faceted Rounds. The faceted glass adds translucence and subtle sparkle. The stones are highlighted by six Sterling Silver Cylinder Beads, which have Cross imprints and are capped at either end. At the top of the Necklace the 3 strands of Turquoise Rounds transition to 3 strands of Agua with Picasso Rondelles, streamlining the silhouette and ensuring wearer comfort. The Necklace is finished with Sterling Silver Rounds and a Wavy Sterling Toggle Clasp, and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 88 grams and is 19-1/4 inches long plus the Pendant, which is 3-1/4 inches by 2 inches including the 5/8-inch Bail (when wearing, a vertical hang length of about 9 inches).
