This outstanding Necklace showcases a Red Jasper and Sterling Silver 4-Stone Inlaid Pendant by Nevada Silversmith Jim Daggett. Each stone represents a different type of Jasper, including Chestnut, Red Top, Fenton Glass and Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper. The blend of colors is attractive and striking. The Jasper has been inlaid with 1/4-inch tall handcrafted strips of Sterling Silver. The Sterling shines brightly against the rich red Stone and delineates each Jasper type. The Stones are wrapped in Sterling Silver Bezel that has been ornamented with Sterling Silver Ball Wire. The round Balls contrast nicely with the linear lines of the Stones and Pendant. The Jasper sits on a rectangular plate of Sterling Silver that has been attractively notched. The layering of Stones and Sterling produce a piece that is both substantial and elegant. The Pendant drapes from a custom Rolled Sterling Silver Bail. It is stamped on the back with the artist's hallmark and "Sterling."
We've paired the Pendant with 4 strands of Bamboo Coral Heishi. The Coral is 4.5mm in diameter and is beautifully cut. It is accented with 6mm Snakeskin Jasper Rounds, which share the coral hues of the Heishi plus matrix of cream and light brown. These stones are complemented by 4mm Greige Fire Polished Glass Bicones, adding subtle sparkle. The mixture of shapes and colors is eye-catching. The stones are highlighted by six 9mm Sterling Silver Rounds with overlapping ribbed petals and diamond cut-outs. The Sterling mirrors the tones in the Pendant and adds wonderful shine to the design. The Necklace is finished with Sterling Silver Rounds and Ball-Wrapped Toggle Clasp and adorned with a Southwest Designs Sterling Charm. The piece weighs 129 grams and is 20 inches long plus the Pendant, which is 3 inches by 1-5/8 inches including the 5/8-inch Bail (when wearing, a vertical length of about 10 inches).
