This outstanding Necklace showcases an Inlaid Gemstone and Sterling Silver Navajo Bear Pendant by Gallup, NM Jewelry Artist Ray Jack. Ray Jack is known for his incredibly detailed and striking pieces, and this Pendant is no exception. The Bear's head & feet are crafted from Turquoise, while the body has intricate patterns made from Turquoise, Malachite, Mother of Pearl, and Jet. These gemstones collectively form an Arrow, which in Native American art symbolize protection and defense. The Arrow is complemented by circles of Sterling Silver, adding shine. The Bear is wrapped in raised Sterling Silver Bezel and set on Sterling Silver Plate adorned with Sterling Balls and Twisted Wire. The edge of the Sterling Plate has cut-outs and linear notches. The piece drapes from a V-shaped Cylinder Bail, and is stamped on the back with "Ray Jack" and "Sterling." A treasure and an impressive work of art!
We've paired the Ray Jack Pendant with 3 Strands of Azurite Chrysocolla Rounds. The 6mm Rounds display hues of turquoise, chocolate & dark brown, pairing beautifully with the Pendant. The Azurite Chrysocolla is complemented by 4mm azure blue Apatite Rounds and 4mm blue Czech Glass Faceted Bicones, adding color depth and subtle sparkle.
