This striking Necklace features a Sterling Silver Sunflower Pendant, adorned with a rich black Onyx Stone. The Sunflower has 16 petals, which curve gracefully for a lifelike presentation. The 27mm round Onyx Stone has been beautifully shaped and polished to a glossy luster. It is set in a raised Sterling Silver Bezel wrapped in Twisted Sterling Wire. The Pendant is 3-dimensional, with the curved Sunflower set on a back plate of Sterling Silver that mirrors the shape of the Petals. The 2 plates of Sterling create visual interest and give the piece substance. The Pendant drapes from a V-shaped Sterling Silver Bail, and is stamped on the back with "925 Sterling."
We've paired the Sunflower Pendant with 4 strands of elegant 5mm Black Faceted Pearls. The facets are very subtle, and give the Pearls a refined sparkle. The Pearls vary slightly in color, displaying a range of hues from bronze to black. The color blend is attractive and enhances the versatility of the piece. The Pearls are complemented by 5mm black and 4mm bronze Czechoslovakian Nailheads. The Nailheads are coin-shaped and slightly faceted, shimmering in reflected light. The Pearls are highlighted by four 7mm Sterling Silver Rounds stamped with concentric circles, and four 6mm Sterling Silver Coin Beads with Caps. The Sterling mirrors the tones in the Pendant and shines amidst the darker hues of the Pearls.
